When it eventually came time for my parents to move out of their home and transition into memory care, Kathryn once again went above and beyond. Her calm presence and practical support were invaluable during that difficult chapter.

Kathryn Davis has a great deal of experience in providing comfort, safety, independence, a sense of normalcy and an abundance of compassion to a couple and their family who were struggling with aging in place for almost two years.

This couple, who are dear family friends, had been struggling with maintaining themselves in their home in a safe manner but refused to move from their home of almost 40 years. In walked Kathryn and from the very beginning provided a peaceful and calm environment which this couple responded immediately. Kathryn eventually brought in a team member to assist her and they share the responsibility of caring for this couple 5+ days a week for roughly 6 hours per day.

They tackle all aspects of aging in a home. They assist in bill paying, setting up and taking them to doctors’ appointments, grocery shopping, preparing meals, overseeing maintenance of the home, planning social outings, and all other things which are needed to assist an aging couple stay in their home. They find creative ways to improve the quality of their clients' lives and stay engaged. They communicate with the family with concerns, needs and general welfare of their parents, which has eased the minds of this couple’s children. As it became increasingly apparent that this couple needed 24/7 care, they took the initiative to research possibilities for this couple to move forward. They have taken the lead and work hand in hand with the family to transition them into an assisted living community. They will continue to assist the family and most especially the couple through the move until the transition is complete and all feel comfortable. I have no doubt that Kathryn will continue to spend time with this couple for a long time after the transition is complete. Kathryn and team treat their clients and their families like family.
If and when my mother needs this type of care for her to be allowed to age in her home, Kathryn and Team will be the first people I call. I am confident they will provide loving, caring and supportive care to all their clients.
